ON POINT Dog Training – Terms & Conditions

These terms exist to protect your dog, your progress, and your experience with ON POINT. Please read them carefully before booking. By working with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Waiver of Liability detailed below.

We may update these terms from time to time. All updates take immediate effect.

General Terms

  • All services must be paid in full (or first instalment paid) before your programme begins.

  • Refunds are not offered except in exceptional circumstances, at our discretion.

  • We reserve the right to end services early if the programme is no longer a good fit, you are not actively engaging, or the working relationship breaks down.

  • Your place is not confirmed until payment has been received.

1:1 Training Programmes

  • All 1:1 programmes require a minimum 3-month commitment.

  • Payment can be made in full or in three monthly instalments.

  • If you're on a payment plan, the full balance remains due regardless of attendance or participation. Payment plans are there to help spread the cost — they are not pay-as-you-go.

  • If a scheduled payment fails, all support and sessions will be paused until the payment is resolved. Missed sessions due to non-payment will not be refunded or rescheduled.

  • If a payment remains overdue for more than 14 days, we reserve the right to remove you from the programme and take steps to recover the remaining balance.

  • Late payments will incur a £7.50/day admin fee.

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy (1:1)

  • You may cancel your programme within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

  • After this window, refunds will not be issued.

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. If we’re unable to fit you in within your programme window, the session will be forfeited.

  • Missed sessions without notice will not be refunded or rescheduled. Two no-shows will result in your programme being ended early and future bookings declined.

Client Responsibility

You’re expected to:

  • Attend all sessions

  • Engage with the process (including any tasks or check-ins)

  • Communicate openly and honestly

  • Be respectful of our time, expertise, and boundaries

Failure to engage may result in your programme being ended. No refunds will be issued for support already delivered.

Safety & Behaviour

  • All safety protocols must be followed during sessions.

  • You must inform us of any known bite history or aggression. There is zero judgment — but full honesty is essential.

  • Muzzle training is strongly encouraged for dogs who are bite-risk or unpredictable in new environments.

  • You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour at all times.

  • Dogs must be under control unless directed otherwise.

  • ON POINT is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss during sessions or board & train.

Photography & Social Media

By working with us, you agree that photos or videos of you and your dog may be taken during training. These may be used for social media, marketing, or educational purposes. If you would prefer not to be included, please let us know in writing before your first session.

Waiver of Liability

You understand that working with dogs carries inherent risks — especially when behavioural issues are present.

By booking services with ON POINT Dog Training, you:

  • Accept all risks involved with training, including injury to yourself, your dog, or others.

  • Take full responsibility for your dog’s behaviour at all times.

  • Agree that ON POINT is not liable for any injury, damage, or losses caused by or to your dog.

  • Understand that training outcomes are not guaranteed. Success depends on your dog’s temperament, your consistency, and your engagement.

  • Acknowledge that ON POINT reserves the right to end services if a dog is unsafe or the working relationship breaks down.

This waiver is legally binding. If any claims are made against ON POINT Dog Training that breach these terms, you agree to cover any resulting legal costs.
